If you've ever seen a BBC nature series, then you know how amazing they are. I'm thinking "Planet Earth, "Blue Planet", "Human Planet", and of course, "The Hunt".
"The Hunt" focuses on the relationship between predator and prey. Just about every ecosystem is covered, from the plains of Africa to the deepest oceans. It's fascinating to learn the various methods by which predators successfully hunt - often times it's purely physical dominance; other times it's about outsmarting the prey; and sometimes teamwork does the trick. Also just as interesting is how species have evolved and adapted to avoid being on the dinner menu and better survive encounters with predators.
This book serves as an informational supplement to the television series, but is also takes the reader into the production of the show. The procedures and equipment used to capture the stunning footage is discussed in the text (as well as shown in some behind the scenes photographs), and it's really remarkable what the talented crews were able to achieve.
Of course, the highlight of the book is the collection of high-quality photos of animals on the hunt and in the process of capturing prey.

This is a comprehensive guide to the characters, creatures, droids, planets, and designs of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". There are a lot of new elements in the film which expand the Star Wars universe, but there are also many connections to the saga films, namely "A New Hope". The book discusses the many aspects of the film, both old and new. Of course, being an Ultimate Visual Guide, the book centers around high-resolution photos that fans will love. The book maintains the high editorial standards, as well as quality printing and layout, that fans have come to expect from DK Publishing and the previous Star Wars visual guides.
Regardless of how you feel about any given Star Wars film, one thing that is just about undeniable is that each and every installment in the Star Wars series has wonderful design work. "Rogue One" is no exception, and "The Art of Rogue One" goes in-depth into the art and design of the characters, locations, and key sequences in the film. I had mixed feelings about the film on the whole, but I was incredibly impressed by the work of the art department and production design team. This book is a must-own if you enjoyed the film or enjoy great artwork.
"LEGO Star Wars: Build Your Own Adventure" is a book of ideas to supplement existing Star Wars sets. Obviously, there are many LEGO Star Wars sets specific to a certain character or scene in the films that can be purchased. But this book shows ideas for things related to Star Wars that can be built with common LEGOs not specific to any set.
